Our Trustees have been involved with children with cerebral palsy for many years as professionals, parents or people with disabilities themselves.
Anne Emerson is Associate Professor in Special Needs Education at the University of Nottingham and a lecturer in psychology at Nottingham Trent University. Anne originally trained as a speech and language therapist which led to her working with Nihal. Anne continues to work with individuals with severe communication impairments and to research alternative communication methods.
